Rancho has many needs for volunteers and prides itself on the number
of volunteers utilized in the classrooms. Volunteers are always
needed in the following areas:
Classroom Volunteers: These people read with students, type
for students on the computer, prepare class materials, work with
small groups doing math and art projects, and assist individual
students with research and assignments. To help, contact your child's
teacher.
Library Volunteers: These people work in the library helping
students check-out books and returning books to the shelves. To
help, contact Linda Mailho
Field trip Volunteers: These people drive students on field
trips and chaperone small groups during field trip activities. To
help, contact your child's teacher.
Computer Volunteers: These people help install software,
maintain the school's web page, troubleshoot computer problems,
seek equipment donations, and assist teachers with their computer
needs. To help, contact Matt
Graham.
Office Volunteers: These helpers assist office staff answering
telephones, filing papers, photocopying newsletters, and delivering
mail to teacher's mailboxes. To help, contact Hope Fuss.
